Once a shipment leaves our dock it is the sole responsibilities of the customer to inspected and notify the carrier of any damages . The customer agrees that they have carefully inspect all items upon arrival and noted any damage on the delivery receipt. Phrasing such as “Subject to Inspection” does not constitute a note of damage and will not be accepted as grounds for honoring a damage claim (including a freight claim). Customer also acknowledges cases of freight damage require a written claim to be filed within 15 days of receipt. When a clear receipt is obtained by a carrier, neither Studio Wise nor the carrier are any longer responsible for damages or shortages. Processing claims for damage and shortages is the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise specified in writing by Studio Wise. Concealed damage claims must be reported with 5 days of receipt and submitted with photos of the product in its original packaging. Studio Wise does not honor damage claims of any kind for product after its removed from its original packaging or installed on site. Freight claims may take up to 45 days to process. Customer agrees to store product in its original packaging for up to 90 day for inspection by the carries agent. Customer understands that all Studio Wise product is made to order, and Studio Wise can not quarantee expedited product. All replacement will be scheduled as best available lead time and acknowledged based of currently production lead times. All freight charges are for replacements and returns are the sole responsibility of the customer unless approved by Studio Wise in writing.
