We all have a responsibility to care for and protect the beauty of our world as well as our health and wellness. When selecting a cleaner, making the right choice for your business and protecting the health and safety of the community is more important than ever.

With the onset of Covid-19 many new cleaning products entered the commercial market that were hazardous to our health and corrosive to your furniture and equipment.

In an effort to protect the health and safety of our clients, and the environment we’ve provided our recommended cleaning guidelines that are safe for you, our surfaces, and our planet.

DAILY CLEANING:

Caring for outdoor oil-rubbed teak furniture requires regular cleaning with mild dish soap and water. Use a damp cloth with clean water to gently wipe the surface in the direction of the wood grain. Remove any standing water with a dry cloth to prevent water spots or moisture trapping.

STUBBORN SPOTS:

Use a soft cloth and a mild dish soap with warm water. Apply to the cloth, not directly onto the teak, and wipe the surface.Repeat until the spot is removed and thoroughly rinse the surface and wipe dry to prevent water spots.

OUTDOOR WOOD MAINTENANCE:

Teak wood contains natural oils that make it strong and durable outdoors. Over time, exposure to sun and rain causes the surface to turn a silver-gray color. If you prefer the original golden look, re-oiling the wood once or twice a year (depending on the environment) is recommended.

NEVER USE the following types of cleaning agents:

• High-acid cleaners such as mold remover, tub & tile cleaner, rust & hard water stain removers, etc.
• Abrasive cleaners.
• Steel wool, SOS, Brillo, pressure washers, etc.
• Magic Erasers or equivalent melamine sponges.
• Powdered oxalic acid.
• Alkaline cleaners such as bleach, ammonia, oven cleaner, etc.
• Quaternary cleaners (quaternary ammonium compounds).
• Oil soaps.

Use of non recommended cleaners will void the warranty.
